Connect to LSUA Wireless from Windows Vista

Published: Feb 22, 2013

For a illustrated step-by-step walkthrough of these instructions please check out our Illustrated Instructions [pdf]

Before proceeding make sure you have the latest Service Packs and Windows updates installed, and also make sure your wireless adapter has the latest drivers. If your computer has a built-in wireless adapter, download the latest drivers from the computer manufacturer's website. If you have an external wireless adapter, download the latest drivers from the adapter manufacturer's website.

Note: we have seen issues where the drivers downloaded from the manufacturer's website do not work. To work around this problem, uninstall your wireless card, and reinstall it only this time try using the Microsoft drivers (the drivers that come with the operating system).

In most instances, Windows Vista will automatically detect and configure your wireless network adapter to connect to "lsuasecure". In this handout we provide instructions on how to connect to "lsuasecure" both through the automatic process and also manually.
