We will discuss how to navigate Moodle, how to create assignments, how to create assessments, how to create graded discussion forms, using the email system in Moodle, editing current items, importing, and more important information.

Moodle is a learning platform designed to provide educators and learners with a single robust system to create personalized learning environments.  It includes a wide variety of ways in which both teachers and students can add media. A teacher, for example, might include a video or audio file in a Lesson or Quiz which could then form the basis of a set of questions. During this training we will discuss all of the available options for adding media to your courses.

Rubrics provide students with a clear understanding of what is expected of them. Many studies have proven that rubrics improve students' end products and thus increase the student's overall learning. In this hands-on course, we will review the rationale for using rubrics and tools and tips for implementing rubrics as an assessment tool in your course.
